Position: Office Administrator
Hours: 20-35 per week
Compensation: $20 per hour
We are looking for a responsible Administrator to organize our company’s day-to-day operations. Your job will be to provide clerical support to our managers and employees and coordinate all daily administrative activities.
The Administrator should be highly organized and able to multitask with ease. The Administrator’s main tasks include managing purchases, invoicing, and office organization . Our ideal candidate has experience as an office administrator, secretary, or relevant administrative role. You should also be familiar with office software, including word processors, spreadsheets and google docs. QuickBooks experience is a plus.
Ultimately, a successful Administrator should be able to ensure our office procedures run smoothly.
● Ordering products and packaging
● Create invoices
● Submit expense reports
● Keep employee records (physical and digital)
● Maintain a filing system for data on customers and external partners
● Basic Bookkeeping
● Prepare regular reports
● Organize, store and print company documents as needed
● Answer and redirect phone calls
● Handle queries from managers and employees
● Update office policies and ensure compliance with them
● Proven experience as an Administrator, Administrative Assistant, Bookkeeper or relevant role
● Familiarity with office equipment
● Knowledge of office policies and procedures
● Experience with office management tools
● Excellent organizational and time-management skills
● Strong written and oral communication skills
● Problem-solving attitude with an eye for detail
● Farm knowledge and experience a plus

Position: Garden Manager
Hours per week:Full time, salaried
Compensation: $42,000 per year
About Bell’s Farm: First established in 1946, we are a multigenerational farm located in Coupeville, WA. We are a diversified farm growing mixed produce, fresh market strawberries, as well as pasture raised livestock. We market our products through a CSA, on-farm stand, through restaurants, and at other local markets.We value hard work, adaptability, and finding joy within our work. We are looking to add several new crew members to our team.
Job Description: Come join the fun and fast paced world of farming! Duties include:
Managing the remainder 2021 market garden
Continuing our CSA program
planting, weeding, general garden maintenance
Managing the garden crew (3-6 people,)
Sales at markets
Market garden planning for 2022 season
Planning crop rotations, choosing varieties, seed inventory, planting and weeding plan, CSA and market planning, etc.
Must be able to lift up to 5o pounds, work in all weather conditions, and work independently. A valid driver's license is required.
Potential for housing available.
This is a long term position that can grow and change with our ever growing and changing farm!

Strawberry Pickers - Check with us May 2022!
We are now signing up strawberry pickers for our 2021 season!
Our season will typically run the beginning of June for 3 to 5 weeks. Pickers work Monday-Saturday from 8:00am til noon. Workers are paid 35 cents per pound and are paid at the end of the season. It is the pickers responsibility to keep track of the punch cards we use to track the weight total they have picked. When our season is over we collect the cards and mail a check with the total.
Must be 12 years old or older
Must have a Social Security card or be eligible to work in the United States
Must have a form of picture ID (school ID, State ID, Passport, Driver's License, etc.)
Must be able to be on their knees for long periods, we pick out strawberries close to the ground
